Construction Stages of a Loft Conversion
Week 1

 

Insert steel fabrication beams into party walls. Fit new timber floor joists from beam to beam. Support the roof slope with stud wall. Construct the main frame of the Dormer including ceiling joist with flat roof, timber sidewalls and a vertical rear face wall. Remove the tiles/slates off the rear roof slope.
