Below are the steps from start to finish of what ABCs do and the service we provide to you:
If you contact us via email or by our online form, we will call you back within 2 working days and arrange a suitable time to visit you to give you a free no obligation quotation.
If you call on our freephone number 0800 028 7815 we will arrange an appointment there and then. Of course, if we are busy you will get our answerphone message, if you leave your contact details, we endeavour to call you back within 4 hours.
On the date and time we have agreed Tony, our proprietor, will visit you. Tony will show your our extensive portfolio including photos of our completed jobs paying particular attention to conversions we have done of similar design and shape to yours.
After telling you a bit about our company, Tony will want you to tell him what you want from your loft conversion. Even if you already have drawings prepared, Tony will make sure your drawings reflect what you want. Our aim is to give you the loft you want and to make sure it is fit for the purpose you want, we do not want to build a loft that you are not 100% satisfied with, and this starts at this very early stage by us understanding your requirements.
Tony will then go up into your loft and measure up paying attention to where you can put your stairs and any other requirements you have. Tony's vast experience of building lofts means he can suggest designs you had maybe never thought of.
Once you are happy you know all you wanted about ABCs and Tony is happy he has all the information to supply you with a quote, Tony will give you a rough guide price before leaving.
Within a few days you will receive your full comprehensive quotation via email and / or post. We will then leave you to decide if you would like to use ABCs. We only ask that if you are unsure, that you call Tony at any time, ask as many questions as you like and let us clarify anything you are unsure about.
If you are interested in using ABCs for your loft conversion, before you make a final decision we always advise potential customers to come and see a completed loft similar to their own and a loft under construction. This gives you a good feel for our company and you get to speak to people who have experienced what you will experience.
If, as we hope, you decide to use ABCs you just need to give us a call and we will arrange a convenient time to come round, sign contracts and arrange either getting architectural drawings prepared by our architect and start the process of getting planning permission. Or, if you already have this done before contacting us, we simply need to arrange a start date. At this point we will talk through how your conversion will be built and give you a full schedule of what will happen.
